Who knows birthday meals better than Betty Crocker? we came across her Children’s Party Book not too long ago and would like to share some tips with you. Here are her suggestions on kids party meal ideas:

Old Fashioned Birthday Party Snacks

  • Birthday Cake
  • Cupcakes Topped with Animal Crackers, Gum Drops, or Tiny Marshmallows
  • Individual Cups of Ice Cream
  • Pink Lemonade
  • Candy Baskets

Airplane Meal Ticket

  • Sliced Ham, Roast Beef, and Turley
  • Potato Chips, Sliced Radishes, and Carrot Sticks
  • Hot Buttered Rolls
  • Birthday Cake
  • Milk

Boxed Picnic Supper

  • Potato Chips or Potato Salad

Pack the above into individually decorated boxes or picnic scarves.
