New York Transit Museum Holiday Family Programs

Train fans will have fun at the special family programs at the  New York Transit Museum.  From going on a scavenger hunt to seeing vivid installations of faceted glass scenes, your child will enjoy a day amongst the trains.

Museum Shape Hunt – Kids will search out shapes on street signs, vehicles and more.
When: December 27 – 30 at 11 am

Great Subway Search - Kids and adults will enjoy a scavenger hunt throughout the transit museum.
When: December 27 – 30 a at 2:30 pm

Windows of the Elevated - Many of today’s elevated subway stations feature faceted glass scenes of surrounding communities. Children will be able to view examples of these installations.  Afterwards, kids will create a window scene of their own.
When: December 31 at 1:30 pm
