Target First Saturday at the Brooklyn Museum

This coming Saturday, November 5, 2011 is Target First Saturday at the Brooklyn Museum from 5 pm to 11pm. Programming is sure to appeal to a wide group of people, kids in the earlier portion of the evening and adult fare for parents having a date night.

Saturday, November 5 Programming Schedule:

Sanford Biggers: Sweet Funk—An Introspective is the new exhibit of local artist Sanford Biggers

Music from 5-7 features  Brooklyn-based musical groups Navegante andNinjasonik merge punk, electro, hip-hop, and Latin grooves.

Hands-on Art from 6:30–8:30 p.m.  What happens when two unlikely objects are combined into a sculpture? Make one and find out! Free tickets available at the Visitor Center at 5:30 p.m.

Please note that due to limited capacities, someTarget First Saturday programs require tickets. Ticket lines often form 30 minutes before ticket distribution at the Visitor Center located in the Rubin Lobby.

Members may pick up tickets from the Membership Desk beginning at 2 p.m. while supplies last. Programs subject to change without notice.
