Kids Haircuts in Brooklyn
Personally, I have one of those kids who has yet to develop any hair worth cutting. I long for the days that she will have a cute little bob or rocker chick do. My tween on the other hand, is all hair and we frequently argue (I know…can you believe it?) about when and how to cut her hair. Thanks to a comment thread on our Facebook page we were able to get some recommendations on where to get the cutest haircuts in Brooklyn for kids from our local mamas. Here is what they said:
For Toddlers
Cocoro Hair Salon on Henry in Carroll Gardens. Gives very stylish cuts for kids with “no gimmicks or videos”
Jen’s 21 month old son has gotten 4 haircuts at Mini Max. “Love them” she says
Maria recommended If I Were a Toy in Carroll Gardens. “My son likes long, rock star hair and she does it right!”
For Tweens and Teens
“Hair Metal in Williamsburg and Greenpoint” is a cool place where older kids can get a good cut.
Where do you get your kids hair cut?
We like Lulu’s on 5th Ave (btwn Dean & Bergen). Also, Brooklyn mom Patrizia Ferrara often gives cuts at Still Hip (Grand St, btwn Lafayette & Clifton Pl) on Sundays between 11 – 6. She’s wonderful and charges less than most other places.
