It may be throwback but I personally think being able to sew is a necessary life skill not just to fix buttons that fall off or being able to sew a hem but bigger projects from making a simple dress or pillows and curtains to spruce up your home. Why not start early? And who knows your girl may end up the next Stella McCartney or Jason Wu or Jonathan Adler. Sew New York is offering small private classes designed for children between the ages of 8-10.
Sew New York Classes for Children
Sew New York classes run in a series of 6 classes and are small with only 2-3 kids per session which is great for the individualized attention for this subject. Currently, the first series beginners 1 is filled due to demand. Don’t despair, get a jump on the next beginner series but getting on the waiting list.
