The Wildlife Conservation Society’s Toddler Time program is a different kind of mommy & me class, one with a live animal encounter. The classes have been a favorite of visitors of the Central Park Zoo, but now these great classes are coming to the Prospect Park Zoo. If you haven’t heard about these classes yet, here are the details. Toddler Time lets you and your children experience the zoo in a whole new way. Each week, the class focuses on a different theme, and has a variety of activities that relate to the theme. You and your kids will sing songs, listen to stories, and even have a live animal encounter, all age appropriate of course. The classes will be held over 6 weeks, and you have the option of attending the 10:30am Tuesday series, which starts on September 27th, or the 10:00am Saturday series, which starts on September 24th.
