Ice Skating Rinks in Brooklyn

It’s time to hit the ice, and to do figure eights and channel your inner Dorothy Hamill. There are two skating rinks in Brooklyn so carve out some time and enjoy.

Abe Stark Rink

Opened in 1970,  the parkland was formerly the site of the Ravenhall Baths and named in honor of Abe Rink, a well-known local businessman. Skaters of all ages and abilities can skate the rink during the weekend at  public skating sessions throughout the winter. Arrive early as the rink fills quickly and is only open for three hours on Saturday and Sunday. There are also teen and adult divisions of the New York Stars Ice Hockey team that play at the Rink.

Admission: $8.00

Aviator Sports
With two National Hockey League size rinks, Aviator Sports, offers all levels of skaters the opportunity  to experience year-round skating fun.

Schedule: Open year round.
Monday/Tuesday 11am – 4:30pm
Wednesday/Thursday 11:00am – 3:50pm
Friday: 11:00am to 4:30pm & 7:00pm to 11:00pm
Saturday: 2:00pm to 6:45pm & 7:00pm to 11:00pm
Sunday: noon to 5:00pm
Admission: Adults $8 and Children $6
Skate Rentals: $5.00
