Hello Brooklyn! This is our very first month online and we are happy to become a part of your community. There are so many things to do in August that we were just able to list the very best so here are our picks for what to do with the end of your summer. 

Friday Night Fireworks
Every Friday in August, 9: 30 p.m.
Coney Island Boardwalk
Keep the kids up late to enjoy this great fireworks show.  Activities including karaoke and prize giveaways for kids start at 7:00 p.m. every Friday night.  See fireworks for details.

Fishing Clinics

Prospect Park

Ezra Jack Keats Story Hour
Saturday, August 6, 13 and 20, 2:00 – 3:00 p.m.
Imagination Playground at Lincoln Road and Ocean Avenue, Prospect Park
Kids of all ages are invited to hear the author’s timeless children’s tale read aloud next to the life size sculptures of some of his most endearing characters.

Mid Summer Festival

21st Annual Sand Sculpting Contest and Unity Day Celebration
