Brooklyn Borough President Marty Markowitz and Feld Entertainment teamed up this week to celebrate the upcoming arrival of Disney On Ice at Barclays Center with a preview performance of Disney On Ice presents Rockin’ Ever After on a skating rink constructed specifically to fit outside of Borough Hall.
The special preview performance at Borough Hall featured guest appearances by some of the most-beloved characters from Disney On Ice, all in celebration of the upcoming Disney On Ice season at Barclays Center. As part of the festivities, Brooklyn Borough President Marty Markowitz welcomed Disney On Ice and Feld Entertainment with a proclamation designating November “Disney On Ice Month in Brooklyn.”
Disney On Ice presents Rockin’ Ever After is a new twist on fairytale fun, in which favorite Disney characters compete to be the next superstar in comical segments leading up to the tales of show-stopping princesses –Ariel, Rapunzel and Belle, as well as Merida from Disney•Pixar’s BRAVE. The show, produced by Feld Entertainment, will run at the Barclays Center from Tuesday, November 27 to Sunday, December 2, 2012.
Additionally, as part of its ongoing commitment to bring quality family entertainment to local communities, Kenneth Feld, CEO, Feld Entertainment; and Juliette Feld, Executive Vice President and Producer, Feld Entertainment; will launch the Brooklyn Community Pass program, a special ticket initiative designed to ensure that all families have a chance to come out to enjoy Disney On Ice in Brooklyn.
