The Pew Research Center published a study last week on Breadwinner Moms being on the rise. According to the study “A record 40% of all households with children under the age of 18 include mothers who are either the sole or primary source of income for the family…” This may ring very true here in New York City where both parents may have to work to afford the high cost of living. Many moms feel that they must work to afford schools, outings, and hey….even rent! but do you resent that fact or enjoy it? Do you feel that making the lions share of the household income gives you more say in how your family operates? Give us your thoughts.
