Celebrate Winnie the Pooh Day (January 18) at the Brooklyn Children’s Museum

January 18 is A.A. Milne’s birthday in 1882, creator of the beloved Winnie the Pooh and his friends Christopher Robin, Tigger, Eeyore, Piglet, and Roo.

No one is quite sure why it was created but it’s the perfect opportunity to read one of his beloved books at numerous book stores and libraries in the area or head to the Brooklyn Children’s Museum which is having a Happy Birthday celebration on January 18.

Happy Birthday, Winnie the Pooh!
Kids will listen to cherished Winnie the Pooh tales and create their own teddy bear-inspired craft to take home.
