Live bands don’t have to be a thing of the past for parents with this weekend’s The Hip Tot Music Festival. The brain child of local parents Gabrielle Napolitano and Adam Milat-Meyer, The Hip Tot Festival will feature live bands catering to youngsters and their parents.

The festival line up includes hummus lovers Rolie Polie Guacamole which be playing songs from their new CD “Houses of the Moly”and classic children’s performer Lou Gallo. Other activities include an artisan fair before, after and during the show featuring Ruby Rock Star (handmade little girls clothing – very different style from your stuff), Brooklyn Baby (kids store that is selling handmade playdough and handmade merch from her store), Plum Organics (offering free samples of organic snacks), Muny (children’s clothes & quilts in custom hand-block printed 100% cotton fabric), face painting (no explanation necessary), craft activities with Private Picassos and giveaways of various kid related products from toys to Revolution Foods snacks.

Admission: $8 for kids and $12 for adults ($35 for a family of 4). Children under 2 are free.
