Icky Fest Weekend at the Brooklyn Children’s Museum

The 4th annual IckyFest Weekend at the Brooklyn Children’s Museum returns on Saturday, November 19th and Sunday, November 20st where science is the focus for events over the weekend.  The weekend will be filled with a multitude of science – based activities.

Kids will have an opportunity to become “grossologists” where they will be creating all things slimy, yucky, and downright disgusting. Icky stuff  like creating their very own snotty slime, watching worms chomp on crickets, dissecting owl pellets, and much more! Children of all ages are encouraged to attend.

Detailed below is the schedule for the IckyFest at the Brooklyn Children’s Museum:

Saturday, November 19
Meet and Greet: Creepy Crawly Creatures
12:00-12:30pm

The Time for Slime
1:30-2:30pm
It’s gooey, it’s stretchy, it’s yucky—it’s slime!   Make your own batch of slime and put its viscosity to the test!  Learn the science behind phases of matter and polymerization and discover how important slime is to the world around us. Ages 4+
