Kiddie Cruise sails along the NYC Harbor dazzling us with little Princesses & Pirates.
Sweet moments in our home are dress-up time. As do my children, most kids love to dress up, whether it is wearing my shoes around the house or reusing their Halloween costume during play dates. Why not wear that cute princess or pirate costume just one more time before they grow out of it and take them on a Kiddie Cruse Princess & Pirate Adventure party, to enjoy dress up time again. Kiddie Cruise is cruise boat for children and their parents that sails around the Hudson River. Here are some of the highlights that your family can enjoy:
Cruise Along the Hudson River
Kiddie Cruise happens on Sunday afternoons for 2-hours. The cruise sails off from Pier #78 and sails up and down the Hudson River. Watch your child’s eyes widen as the cruise lingers near the Statue of Liberty.
On Board Activities
On board activities include a rotating cycle of events so you can wander the boat and never miss a performance. Watch a Puppet Show, enjoy a dance party with live music, participate in an arts + crafts project, be captivated by an amazing magician and have your entire families faces painted by professional artists. With a VIP ticket your family can enjoy a visit with the captain.
All Inclusive Tickets & A Special Gift
Tickets for the cruise are all inclusive and include on board activities, a bagged lunch, unlimited soda and juice, and live entertainment. This season, Scholastic is sponsoring the Kiddie Cruise and providing the cruise with chapter books to share with the families on board. Upon boarding, all kids will receive a chapter book of their very own! What a great, educational gift to take home with you!
Location: Pier #78 in NYC – West 40th Street and the West Side Highway
Parking: The entire adventure was relaxing since our kiddies were engaged in all of the fun activities. The only stressful part of our adventure was parking. My only suggestion is to give yourself at least 30 minutes to find parking before you head onboard. Paid parking is available but mass transit is the fastest and less expensive means.
Rain or Shine: The boat is fully covered with the exception of the observation deck so rainy days should not keep you away. A bit of swaying is your only concern for the little ones wandering about, but that just adds to the appeal especially during the dance party portion of the activities.
Sail Away Today: As the weather gets chillier the cruise will dock for the season. Get your tickets for the next cruise and enjoy the end of summer and Fall season on board.
