In between cooking the turkey, eating it and shopping on Friday, you may be able to squeeze a fun activity with your kids. Here are a few we’ve selected:


Story Time: Melissa Sweet

Author and illustrator Melissa Sweet presents Balloons Over Broadway – the inspirational story of Tony Sarg, the man behind Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade.

1,2,3 Nibble with Willow

Visit the Dekalb Market’s on-site farm to taste local foods, sing songs and learn about the garden from Willow, the friendly puppet. This is also a great opportunity to show your children ingredients for food that was served at the Thanksgiving table. Kids age 3-6.
