This weekend is chock full of major annual events from the Transit Museum’s and Atlantic Antic Annual festivals to outdoor events.
Transit Museum’s 19th Annual Bus Festival provides kids and adults the opportunity to explore nearly 20 vintage buses and surface vehicles from the Transit Museum’s collection as part of the 19th Annual Bus Festival. The Bus Festival will also feature workshops and games for all ages led by transit experts and museum educators. Admission to the Museum will also be free, so so visitor can see more transit artifacts

Dumbo Arts Festival‘s kid-friendly Art Village, presented by the Children’s Museum of the Arts offers a wide-range of family art projects, free-form activities, media workshops, and exhibits themed around the DUMBO Waterfront.
Atlantic Antic Street Festival - Celebrate new and old Antic traditions along 10 blocks of Atlantic Avenue with over 500 craft and food vendors, 100 local retailers and restaurants, and one block dedicated to kids.

Introduction to Birdwatching – head to Prospect Park and explore the Park’s natural areas and learn how to look for migrating birds.

Weekend Family Program at Brooklyn Bridge Park - Kids can explore the many modes of transportation that we use from Egg Carton Vehicles to Subway System Activity
