11/11/11 is not just a really cool date; it also happens to be Veterans Day – a federal holiday, meaning your kids will be off from school. What to do with them?

Here are some options:

This popular weekly drop-in program is free with admission. The program included hands-on activities, stories and more. For ages 2-5 and adult companions. Museum admission: $7 adults; $5 children 2-17.

This weekly program is for children with and without special needs under the age of 5. The program included book-sharing and creative educational playtime. Children learn social skills and their language development is stimulated by playing together with age-appropriate toys. Parent or guardian must accompany children.
