Spring Cleaning: Buy/Sell/Swap Kid’s Clothes and Toys

Spring Cleaning Meet Up Spring is in the air and there is no better time to go through your kid’s closets and pull out clothes and toys your child no longer  uses. More than a dozen Brooklyn, Queens- and Manhattan based parents groups and “Meet Up’s” have joined forces and are co-sponsoring Spring Cleaning Buy/Sell/Swap, a gigantic event to buy, sell, and swap kid’s toys and clothes in a centrally located warehouse in Long Island City on Sunday, April 1st 2012 from 10am to 2pm.


The event is co-sponsored by the following organizations and both sellers and buyers are welcome.

Spring Cleaning: Buy/Sell/Swap Kid’s Clothes and Toys

When: Sunday, April 1st, 2012 from 10am to 2pm. Doors open at 9:00am for sellers and 10:00am for the general public
Where: 2109 Borden Avenue, Long Island City, NY 11101.  The warehouse  is close to the G-train and the Pulaski Bridge, the Midtown Tunnel, and the Long Island Expressway (Exit Van Dam Street). There will be lots of easy street parking in front of and around the building. Signs and air balloons will announce the event in front of the building.

Buyers: Admission for buyers is free.
Sellers pay between $10 and $40 depending on the size of the table. For example, $40 buys a huge 4ftx 8ft table.
What do you have to do to sell excess toys, clothes, and other baby- and kid-related items? Just bring your stuff in bags or crates, rent a table depending on the size of your inventory, and set up shop!
