Grocery Delivery in Brooklyn

Fresh Direct isn’t the only game in town when it comes to grocery delivery in Brooklyn. There are some great ways to get organic and gourmet products delivered to your door and some of them within the hour!

Good Eggs brings local groceries right to you. Order online from the best local farmers & food makers, and your groceries are picked and prepped to order.

Quinciple is a weekly subscription service that creates a balanced box of groceries each week, including meat, fish, cheese, bread, produce, eggs and pantry staples. Every box contains enough ingredients to make at least two different dinners for two people.

Sweet Roots is a one on one grocery delivery and menu service provided by Brooklyn mom Marisa Claire who will analyze your  taste preferences, health goals, and skill level in the kitchen.Once you approve your meal plan, a Sweet Roots NYC rep will deliver the ingredients for a week’s meals right to your door (or doorman) measured and ready to cook.

Organic Direct is similar to Fresh Direct in that they have a very thorough online store with jut about everything from meat and cheese to diapers.

Urban Organic buys produce, groceries and dairy goods from organic farmers’ cooperatives, distributors and individual farmers. They sell most of their produce in boxes similar to a CSA. The standard Value Box contains a variety of 15-18 different fruits and vegetables each week depending on seasonal availability. They have several different box sizes and variations. In addition to  fruit and vegetable boxes, they also offer organic groceries, soy products, herbs and spices, dairy products, and desserts.

3 Guys from Brooklyn takes their delivery orders by phone, not online. They say that it is because” we know you’ll get the personal service you need over the phone. What’s fresh? What’s on sale? What heap of beautiful fruit and veg looks particularly good today? We’ll let you know.” When you call Three Guys from Brooklyn to place an order, you have a chance to ask them about what you’re buying and they get a chance to advise you. The only down side is that you have to know what you are looking for!
