Whether you’re an avid skier, or simply enjoy relaxing in the spa, a winter resort has something for everyone and is the perfect getaway for the entire family. Luckily, there are so many nearby resorts at a relatively short driving distance, so Brooklyn Mamas has  put together a list of a few that are two or three hours away.

Two Hours Away

Mohonk Mountain House
This stunning Victorian Castle, set on thousands of acres is nestled in the heart of the Hudson Valley and is a favorite among New York State’s resorts.

    Just an hour from NYC is family and beginner friendly Mount Peter in Warwick, NY. Check them out for a day on the slopes without a lot of windshield time!
